About Sally

My Journey

My journey has been one of continuous learning and growth. It has taken me to Moody Bible Institute, Michigan State University, then to the European Bible Institute near Paris, France, where I taught Church Music and Voice for sixteen years to an international student body.

My family then moved to Eastern France where my husband and I taught for three years at the Black Forest Academy across the border in Germany, while also directing two local and one international choir that toured French speaking Europe. Over the course of 38 years, I translated over 400 choral pieces for the choirs. My book about music and worship, Chantez en sa Présence, was published in 1987.

What brings me joy? Puppies, mountains, bourbon glazed steak tips, beauty in any form, and traveling with my daughter. Since retiring to London, Ontario (Canada), I've continued to study and teach.

Aging Well - A Season of Becoming is more than just a writing project for me; it's a reflection of my own experiences and observations as I navigate the beauty and challenges of aging.
